“We all have many regrets. One of mine was watching a love(d) one sink deeper into the darkest parts of her mind all while I pretended everything was alright. It went on up till the day she attempted to take her own life. I used to think anyone could forget or walk away from the pain and the problems. But that was never an option for her. Sometimes the weight gets too much for one to bear and that’s when they need a helping hand. My regret was not being that helping hand for her.”

We hope to bring about awareness to suicide prevention and what you can do to help those around you, whether it be a loved one, a colleague or just a mere acquaintance.
Do not sit in silence. Help them connect to a trained professional. Have them know that they need not suffer alone.
I’m losing my mind,
Emotions got the better of me
I’m wasting the time to take it all back
You’re out of my reach
And I can’t give,
What I cannot feel,
Is there something wrong with me?
Is this what they call anxiety?
I’m only half the man that you would want me to be,
No matter how I tried so hard you still won’t believe
That its possible.
Impossible for me.
Now I’m fighting on my own again,
Finding enemies instead of friends,
I’ve been going through all this pain
I’m like a soul that has lost its flame.
Now I’m fighting on my own again,
Finding enemies instead of friends,
I’ve been going through all this pain,
To be a man that deserves your name.
“I’ve come to a truth in life.
You can’t make someone be someone they’re not.
Your expectations will never become reality.
Your disappointment will only become negativity.
And if we place our self-worth on things to achieve.
Does that mean our failures make us amount to nothing?
We are more than just their hopes and dreams.
We are so much more.
Forgive me.”
I believe that we are so much more than their hopes and their dreams.
Please don’t place your hopes in changing me into someone I’ll never be.
Now I’m fighting on my own again,
Finding enemies instead of friends,
I’ve been going through all this pain
I’m like a soul that has lost its flame.
Now I’m fighting on my own again,
Finding enemies instead of friends,
I’ve been going through all this pain,
To be a man that deserves your name.
